BMCC Technology Workshop Information

 Helpful Hints on Using Technology 

A new series of one-hour workshops: each session will present simple ways to make the technology you use every day easier to deal with, and will also provide an opportunity for hands-on practice.

If you use the iNotes interface to read your BMCC email over the web, come learn how to change passwords, access the BMCC address book, create contacts, search mail, and more.

March 2 IP phones
Learn how to forward, transfer, conference, set speed dials, change passwords, and more on both models of phones used in BMCC
March 16 Viruses and spyware
Learn the basics of keeping your computer safe from malicious agents on the internet.

March 23 Managing files
Can't remember where you saved your files?  Overloaded with old floppy disks?  Come learn about ways to organize the  files on your PC and options for file transport and storage.

These workshops do not require registration.  However, there are 30 computers available in the room, so seats will be first come, first served.
