SHARED MATERIALS

These materials have been developed by your colleagues, and generously contributed for you to use in your own course. Of course, you'll need to adapt them to fit your own course requirements, and your own style, but they can be useful starting points (or ideas for alterations). If you need help in altering or modifying them, contact Ruru Rusmin or Donna Dickinson in S501A.

The idea of this collection is for all of us to "share and share alike." So please contribute your own materials, modified versions of these, or other (freely available) resources you discover.

• A collection of demonstration videos to be used as tutorials on accessing the CUNY Portal, Blackboard, and on navigating Blackboard.
• A basic introductory handout (in .pdf format) to be given to students at a first-day meeting.
• Another handout (also in .pdf), explaining how to edit the student personal homepage, and add a picture.
• A Quick Tour of the different areas of Blackboard.
• A basic FAQ about Blackboard.
• Simple instructions for students on using the Digital Dropbox.
• A rubric for grading Discussion Board posts.
• A Quiz Generator for easily making Blackboard quizzes.
