The summer of 2008 brings a new Video Arts & Technology College Now program to BMCC:

Introduction to TV Production

Earn two college credits while learning the ins and outs of video production in BMCC's state-of-the art facilities. In the mornings learn all about behind-the-scenes technology and in the afternoon enjoy the hands-on workshop doing multi-camera production in the studio. Field trips and guest speakers are included in the program.

Introduction to TV Production runs from July 7 through July 31, 2008, Monday through Thursday, from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM.

Metrocards and lunch vouchers are provided. Two college credits are earned upon the successful completion of the program.

College Now Program

Enjoy the 4 week intensive hands-on program taught in a state-of-the-art digital facility

To be eligible for the program you must:
  1. 1. Be a New York City public high school student, entering 11th or 12th grade in September 2008
  2. 2. Have a minimum overall high school GPA of 80
  3. 3. Submit your high school transcript, a letter of recommendation from a teacher or guidance counselor, and an essay describing why you wish to enroll in the program and
  4. 4. Be interviewed by the program coordinator.
