BMCC where Faculty feel at home in the Studio and the Lab
In the summer of 2006 the VAT program, in conjuction with the BMCC
Media Center, launched the first season of Summer Workshops for faculty
from the New York City area. After surveying potential participants about
their needs and interest, a curriculum was developed for the first workshop.
Support from the NSF-ATE grant provides a stipend to faculty participants.
The first workshop was a great success. Enrollment was higher than anticipated
and the particpants expressed satisfaction in a post-workshop survey.
